HTML5 KB pictures size RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello guys.

    i've really trying to love new html Knowledge Base but one thing is bothering me, it is a picture size of an articles on portal.

    The picture that saved in KA displays at the portal smaller size than original .

    If you look at the code on the page, it looks like this

    <span><img width="676" height="262" style="border-width: 0px;" alt="" src="data:image/png;base64  ...etc

    </span>

    it seems that width and height are set while you add an article in KB.

    My question is: is it possible to set a width and a height for pictures in KB to auto (size)?

  • I've solved this problem with help of my collegue. I can't share solution right now, but i can say that you need to modify Article.cshtml C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SelfServicePortal\Views\KnowledgeBase\Article.cshtml

    You need to add some code which will replace attribute height and 'width' with NULL in this section:

    @Resources.SelfServicePortalResources.InternalContent

  • Hi,

    As this thread has been quiet for a while, if your issue is still there, I recommend you open a case with Microsoft CSS.

    Sorry for the limited help on this case. I will do further research and give you an update if I get any useful information. It is also appreciated that the other members in our forum can share their experience with us about this scenario. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
