  • I bought a audio book .. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get into media player library.  Media Player keeps telling it .ODM is not recognized by Windows Media Player.. I thought I downloaded  ODMmedia console setup.msi  and the book jack and jill I have NO CLUE where to save them nor where they went into the computer/  I am computer stupid.  HELP  I have windows7 ...   thanks.. "Lost"

    Windows Media player does not support .odm files. I would suggest you to convert the .odm files to the file format supported by Windows media player.

  • As per searches on the Web, you can open .ODM files using OverDrive Media Console. Download the MSI file, double-click it and install it using on-screen instructions. 

    I am not sure if you can add the ODM file to Windows Media Player Library, though it might be possible if OverDrive Media Console adds codecs for ODM file and Windows Media Player can use them.
