Office 2013, Outlook 2013, plugin not visible RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have an Office 2013 App-V package which is part of a connection group, in this connection group there is a plugin for Outlook. This was visible and is for most computers except for one.
    Repair didn't work, please advise.

    J.

  • Thanks but tried that yes.
Final solution was to install the package physically. That was the only way we could make the App-V package see the plugin.

  • Can you check whether that particular computer has the connection group.

    Get-AppvClientConnectionGroup -All

If it's available then try repair.

Repair-AppvClientConnectionGroup [-Name] <String> [-Extensions] [-Global] [-UserState]

Any logs traced in eventviewer? Have you set the package to be optional in connection group?

Have you selected ADD PACKAGE ACCESS TO GROUP ACCESS in the console?

  • Can you check whether the machine is in the AD (Active Directory) Access in the console.

  • Am I reading this right... it does work everywhere, except on 1 specific computer, and you are deploying it physically?
