The unattend.xml and settings Deploymentshare RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone

My deployment is working fine and all language settings are applied correctly.

But I'm surprised when I open the unattend.xml file of my task sequence ...

keyboard / timezone / language settings are totally different from my Deploymentshare configuration and my OS configuration capture.

    Is Deploymentshare a priority?

    Thank you.

Answers

  • The unattend.xml is a copy from the basic template in MDT.

Unless you specifically change settings in there, the settings in the customsettings.ini file will be used for your deployments.

Everything in the customsettings is global, the unattend file can be configured differently for each TS.
