HDD is Frozen RRS feed

  • I bought New Acer E1-470 5 days ago. on the 4th day i'd been installed windows update then it restart, but when it restart on the screen just written "configuring windows update till 30% only and shutting down and it happen again and again. i brought to the shop i bought it. they can reinstall again for windows 7 ultimate. i went back home, i turn on my Acer and press for F2 and i found there was my "HDD : Frozen" and after that bluescreen sometimes appear "critical.......".

    How can i unfreeze my HDD for Acer E1 - 470? please help me !

  • What do you mean by my "HDD:Frozen"?  Windows does not have the capability to "unFreeze" a defective HDD.  You need to take your computer to a Computer Repair shop and have diagnostics run on your system.

    Your computer is covered by a manufacturer's warranty which was included in the prive of your system - Take it to where you purchased it for warranty service.
