Is it possible to work without local AD using DirectAccess in cloud? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello!

Excuse me if I'm posting to wrong forum category.

I'm working in medium-sized (small?) company. We are going to have about 40 local and 100 remote managers (PCs and laptops). We don't really want to have any local server. So I'm thinking about installing AD on remote server (Azure) and setting up DirectAccess Server. But I'm new to it and don't even know is it possible and is it worth it.

I will be pleased if you provide me any information and help.

    Thanks a lot!

  • Hi Yes,

It will work if you have your AD server provision on the Azure cloud platform, currently that model is IAAS model, however if you wish to explore you can always visit azure.com
