  • Hi Ronnie,

Notice that you are using Windows Small Business Server 2011, and even though this is running WSUS 3.2 like Windows Server 2008 R2, I am not sure if this scenario is suitable for your environment: "WSUS does not sync with Microsoft on WSUS 3.0 SP2-2008 R2 servers because of certificate error".

In addition, WSUS 3.2 has ended its life cycle. Please also consider replacing the higher version of WSUS to provide you with services.

Hope the above can help you.

    Regards,
    Yic

  • Hi Ronnie,

Consider the steps provided in the following articles: "Migrate Windows Server Update Services to Windows Server 2012".
You can also consider using a newer Windows Server 2016 or 2019.
