Controlled reboot after security patches RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Is there a way to control the reboot a bit more, for servers, after the security patches have taken place during the maintenance window?

For example: My maintenance window is 22:00-23:00

The patches finishes 22:10, the reboot takes place straight after. Is it possible to configure the reboot at the end of the maintenance window at 23:00?

I hope it's a bit clear what I try to explain.

Many thanks in advance for your reply.

    Kind regards,

  • No, but there is another option: configure the updates to be installed outside of maintenance windows and allow reboots only to happen during maintenance windows.
