Hybrid Cloud PBX deployment- "No on premises PSTN information is available." RRS feed

  • Question

  • Have a hybrid SFB EV deployment with O365 and trying to do Cloud PBX with on-prem trunks.

Have run the hybrid wizard from SFB console successfully.

Cloud PBX user doesn't get the inbound calls and can not make outgoing calls.  The user could do both when homed on-prem.

In reviewing the Admin console in O365, the "on premises PSTN" tab shows "No on premises PSTN information is available."

How soon after running the hybrid setup should that appear?

If it hasn't appeared after awhile, why not?

    Thanks.

  • Hi BiggJake,

First , you must have configured Active Directory synchronization using Azure AD Connect. The version of AAD Connect you use must be version 1.0.9125.0 or later and Skype for Business 2015 or Lync server 2013 hybrid configured.

Have you run the ADSyncSyncCycle for directory synchronization?

Did you move the user(enabled the Enterprise voice) to the skype for business online?after that ,you should run the ADSyncSyncCycle again,in the end you should connect to Skype for Business online PowerShell to enable user for Hybrid Voice.(run set-CsUser –Identity test1@contoso.com – EnterpriseVoiceEnabled $True –HostedVoicemail $True).

Please double check this article about the step by step Enable a user for Phone System in Office 365 with on-premises PSTN connectivity

You should wait for 24 hours for the sync. If it is over 24 hours ,it is un-normal.

    Best Regards,
    Leon Lu

  • AAD connect is in place and correct version.

    Sync has been run.

It has been 24 hours and still no on premises PSTN populated.

Checking the user account online gives:

  • Update..

The inbound calls from PSTN to the Cloud PBX test user is successful.

The CloudPBX test user cannot make outbound calls.

  • Have to do New-CsVoiceRoutingPolicy to create a hybrid voice policy then Grant-CsVoiceRoutingPolicy for the users.

They had the on-prem VoicePolicy’s but also need the VoiceRoutingPoilicy for the hybrid CloudPBX of their account.

Have to do this in powershell and basically I just duplicated the VoicePolicy’s with adding a “-Hybrid” at the end and assigned the same PSTNUsages.

    Good article that explains it..
