Dear community,
I hope someone can help me out with a special problem. I am using an Intuos Pro M tablet by Wacom on a HP Z800 machine running Windows 10, 1607 LTSB. To complicate things, keyboard, monitor and mouse (and the Wacom tablet as well) are not directly connected
to the PC but via a KVM extension by Black Box, type DTX 5002 (compares Avocent HMX 1050).
1. The tablet is working when directly connected to the PC running Windows 10.
2. The tablet is working over the KVM extension when using the same hardware running Windows 7.
3. The tablet is detected by the KVM receiver as Wacom Intuos5 touch M.
I have updated the Wacom drivers on Windows, updated to the latest firmware of Black Box and talked to the support of both teams.
Is there something that has changed in Windows 10 in detecting or addressing the device so it can't be found when using the KVM extension? Has it to do with Windows Ink&Touch?
Thanks so much in advance!
Silvan
