Not showing horizontal scroll bars for Web Layout for embedded word RRS feed

    Hi All,

    I have embedded one word document to show in internet explorer. This word document is in Web Layout.
    When I open it in MSWord application then word shows both horizontal and vertical scroll bars if reduce the size of window.

    But if I open the document in embeded in internet explorer, only vertical scroll bar is visible ..no horizontal scroll bar.. If I turn the document in Print Layout then it shows properly both scrollbars. I have attached
    the images of the issue to show in my enviroment.

    Is there is any way to fix this issue, or its valid issue with word web layout.

    Please let me know if anybody has inputs for this.

    Hi,

    Are you opening that document within Word Online App? I see we only have Editing View and Reading View in Word Online. Please first check the size of your document under PAGE LAYOUT.

    Please first try with a different browser and see if issue presists.

    I would suggest you to install any updates that available to your Windows system, include updating the graphics driver. Then try again.

    If I have understood you incorrectly, please feel free to post back.

    Hi Ethan...thanks for your reply.

    The document is getting opened in embedded IE browser. Basically we have following scenario:

    Using OleControlSite we embed the word document in browser window to open it in our Rich client application. And it does not show horizontal scroll bars for given document if its in web layout. But we can see vertical scroll bars. Same observation if opens the word embedded in IE. So this looks issue with opening word in IE with weblayout.

    Or not sure if any settings can solve it.
