windows 10 and quicktime

hi, I just tried this, but quicktime doesn't show up as a new item to load, any other ideas? I really need quicktime to work on my windows 10 computer, as I have to submit files for a class I am taking in quicktime format. thanks

QuickTime has not been supported on Windows since 2016. Also afaik you would have needed QuickTime Pro to create QuickTime files.

So what exactly does it say about submitting these files?

Hi,

Yes, that's end of support. This is the statement from Apple:

Important: QuickTime 7 for Windows is no longer supported by Apple. New versions of Windows since 2009 have included support for the key media formats, such as H.264 and AAC, that QuickTime 7 enabled. All current Windows web browsers support video without the need for browser plug-ins. If you no longer need QuickTime 7 on your PC
