Migrating Users to Exchane 2010 - Custom Quotas RRS feed

    Hi,

    We are upgrading to 2010 from 2003 Exchange (on the way to a 2013 Exchange environment).

    One question I cant seem to find an answer to is that most of our 500 users have custom mailbox quotas. When they are migrated to 2010, will these quotas be kept or will I have to set them up again?

    Hi Brendan,

    Since Exchange 2003 is out of life, I have a test in my environment using Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010. Moving mailboxes from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010, the custom storage quotas won't be changed, they will be kept.

    As said, custom storage quotas would not be changed while doing this.

    Meanwhile if you wish, you may also consider on this automated solution (http://www.exchangemailboxmigration.com/) that could be an appropriate alternative resource to get this job done in more easier way.
