Will this be rolled into MIM at some point? RRS feed

  • Simon,

At this time, we do not anticipate the MIMWAL to be included in the Microsoft Identity Manager product itself.   The MIMWAL is a great solution that is built on the extensibility framework that is provided in the MIM product, but it is not part of the MIM core product itself.   This allows customers a choice of developing their own private custom workflow activities, utilizing the open source activities that are included in the MIMWAL, as well as a combination of both if desired.

This is a good question, and I will be adding it to the MIMWAL FAQ at http://aka.ms/MIMWAL/FAQ

    Thanks!

  • It's a good question Simon!

I'm also waiting for this... It's will be better for the user experience. For example, in the Email Notification box of the MIMWAL, we will be able to use the resolve box to retrieve Email Template...

    Maybe coming soon... ?

    Regards,

    Sylvain

  • Sylvain,

Regarding the expression to resolve the Email template in MIMWAL,  it is was intended to use a lookup or an Xpath to return the desired email template.    This opens up scenarios where you can use an expression to select an email template perhaps based on language of the receiver, or other criteria.

The easiest Xpath would be based on DisplayName like "/EmailTemplate[DisplayName='Notify Approver']"

    For more info, see:
