  • Hi,

It is strange that it works with one laptop an not with the other.
What are the differences between the laptops?
To what kind of server do you connect? (Terminal Server, ISA, another desktop/laptop, ..)
Are you sure the VPN is setup correctly?
Can you ping the server on it's IP address?
Can you connect to the server with it's IP address?

Let me know and I will try to respond soon.
    Cheers,
    Yuri

  • Well, downloading and installing the VPN client is the easy part.
After that you will have to configure the client properly.
I suggest to ask the administrator who setup the 'correct laptop' for the software and configuration settings you need.
    All the best,
    Yuri
