Setting up a shared webserver with shared name servers RRS feed

  • Dear all

    I want to setting up shared web server on windows 2008 Server R2, I have installed Windows 2008 Server R2, Now I want to setup shared name servers for my college students, like ns1.runmapglobal.co.in and ns2.runmapglobal.co.in, I have tried but not working, please give me idea step by step, how can i setup this.We have 50 students so we want to provide 50 domains to our 50 students and we also give hosting to our students on that server then all 50 accounts use only this one name server.

    If I understand correctly, you want to configure host header name. Please refer to the following articles:
