When I put the code in an XSL Editor, the weather image displayed perfectly but on clocking save and close, it disappear.

  • This being the Pre-2010 forum, expect a pox to fall upon your family.  Sorry, that's just the way it is.

I have put HTML in a content editor webpart, but have only put XSL inside the XSL Editor.  It's kinda right there in the name and all, but I would guess that they non-XSL wouldn't be usable in the XSL Editor.

So, maybe add a CEWP to the page, add your HTML, and see what happens.

Rock and a hard place.  Technet support directs SP2010 queries here despite it being labelled overwise.  An odd arrangement.

The CEWB has a "Convert to XSLT", might be worth giving that a go.  Just remember to use the source view, not the RTF / Notepad view or you may get unexpected results.
