Windows Update Agent API - Local MSU Files RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been scripting up a lot of WUA API scripts to pull various updates from my WSUS server and install/reboot etc. However, I now have 15 hotfixes I also nee to deploy and cannot import them into WSUS. I'd like to script their installation using vbscript/powershell. The only way I can see of doing this is to use a shell object to call wusa.exe but from reading here Description of the Windows Update Standalone Installer in Windows it seems its then calling the WUA API.So, can I call the WUA API and tell it to install locally stored .msu files somehow?
