MS Dynamics GP Outlook RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have a client who is using MS Dynamics Great Plains and trying to send a PDF invoice from GP Outlook to herself for uploading into another system.  When she clicks on Mail to Recipient(PDF) it creates an Outlook message, but when she sends it, the message gets stuck in her Outbox.  Then when she clicks Send/Receive she gets error 0x80040900 - The email server could not be found on the network. 

    I am at a loss, and have been unable to find a solution online.

  • It looks like a Outlook Sync issue to me. What happens if the user opens the Outlook, creates a new item and just copies the PDF as attachment - does it works properly? This will ensure the mail can be sent to the respective email server from Outlook without any issue. In the above scenario, do they see the issue when the current logged on user's Outlook is opened? Does the Outlook is fully patched with latest service pack or not?
