    Hi folks,

    I want to test Office 2010 on my terminalservers. I want to do this virtualized because I do not want to deïnstall Office 2003 (and some users will still be using 2003).

    Office 2010 (App-V) works great. However: the proxies are interfering with the normal operation of 2003 users. Example: when I go to a sharepoint site the proxy kicks in and tries to start a virtualized application. However: the 2003 users do not have access to the Office 2010 App-V programs.

    Is there a way to disable the 2010 proxies (Office 2010 deployment kit) for 2003 users only?

    One of the main scenario's must be that you want to run Office 2010 (virtualized) along side Office 2003 (installed).

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Installing an earlier version of Office plus the Office 2010 Deployment Kit for App-V is the same as installing multiple versions of Office on a machine at the same time - last install wins.

    Hello,

    When installing proxies it always effects all users for the specific machine. They are not possible to limit to a certain user base.
