Skype for business prompts for password.

    Question

  • Not sure what's going on, starting from tomorrow, Skype for business started to prompt for my password. If I enter my password, it will be OK, then at any time, it will ask for it again.

    Any idea how to troubleshoot it ?

    In order to narrow down the issue, please help us confirm the following questions:
    1.What operation did you do before you encounter this situation?
    2.Did you mean after you login SFB successfully then it prompts for passwords?

    Please also try the following troubleshooting steps:
    1. Make sure your SFB client with the latest update
    2. Delete SFB cache files and test again: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\sip_UserName@Domain.com
    3. Try to perform a clean boot on your computer: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
