SQL protection to long database name RRS feed

  • we have a problem with long sql database names.

    the error:

    The last recovery point creation failed for the following reason:  (ID: 3159)  The path to the SQL temporary folder for  server\sql\long databasename on server.domain.local is too long

    Does anybody know a solution? 

    I cannot rename the sql database it's for sharepoint

    These are ignorable alerts (ID3159/30127). DPM automatically resolved this. These alerts will be raised when DPM runs sync even before replica is initialized. They will get resolved automatically during the next sync operation.

    This is a known issue and the only workaround currently is to move the database to a location with shorter path name.
