  • Question

  • Hello, All

I managed to configure GSM and Alerts Attachments (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj899889(v=sc.12).aspx)

I can download test result file and I see it in share.

Also Share object exist for Collection servers

but "Visual Studio Web Test Result" view is giving me this error: "The share does not seem to be configured in the Alert Attachment management pack."

if I run task "Retrieve Previously Downloaded Test Result Contents" I get this error:

  • Hello,

I would like to suggest you check Operations Manager event log, do you have event 10001 logged?

Log Name: Operations Manager Event ID: 10001 Description: Global Service Monitor Modules: Failed step: 'Could not upload tests to xxxxx

    Diagnostic context: RequestId = 'xxxx',

New ConfigHash = 'xxxxx', '10' tests,

    Last ConfigHash = '00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000'.

Exception: 'The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden..

    Response Body: '{"Code":"NumTestsLocationExceeded",

"Message":"Number of tests 4 of type 'VSWebTest' exceeds the test limit (3) for this location.

  • Seems it boils down to tests that fail.

but that's a case when test results are most relevant.
