MOSS 2007 List WebPart not refreshing.

Hi all,

I had created a simple list in MOSS 2007 with "Title" and "Number", I created a simple view "My View" setting a filter for a specific "Number" on the list and it works perfectly fine. I then created a List Webpart on my Home Page setting the view as "My view" - till this point everything is perfect, I tried to change the filter value of the Number and the list works fine but the List webpart on the Home page will not refresh until unless i manually edit the webpart and set the view again.

Please ask for any clarification, Any help would be appreciated.

When you select the view in the Webpart configuration, the web part copies the view configuration. I mean, it uses the view as a template. So, it doesn't matter if you change the original view, the webpart is not going to change. That's the behavior by design.
