  • i want to buy Vista SP1.
    1-how many times i can change my windows and install fresh windows on my own system without any change to hardware?
    i ask this because i heard after some fresh installation maybe microsoft dont active your windows.

    2-which hardware i can change without problem in activation?because i'm game lover and in a year i maybe change my system 2 or 3 times or more and i want to know is microsft will active my windows after hardware change ?

    If you buy a retail version of Vista, (Not OEM) there are no restrictions on how many times you can activate or move the installation to a different computer, as long as it is uninstalled from the previous computer.

     

    If you purchase an OEM version, you can activate it as many times as you wish, as long as it is on the same computer where it was first installed.
