Problems with my vista-apps crash- not sure if correct forum RRS feed

  • Question

  • I i recently bought a new computer and got windows vista ultimate.
    I have a 2.83ghz quade core 1tb memory, 8g ram, gforce 9700X+ graphics card
When i first started out fire fox crashed on me alot...but that was it...ignorable. However the problem has started to occur in other places. Skype and msn are the most bothersome and internet explorer. When i open them they crash instantly. This started occuring after my nividia graphics update (which i needed for game use). Any suggestions? here are 2 errors. Please leave suggestions here or email chris_streak@hotmail.com. ty for your time.

  • Well frequently appcrashes can mean that your system is either unstable or corrupt.
Even the distributor can do false overclock. I would recommend to try a Windows-repair first. It´s the safest way.

  • hey, the system came stably overclocked from distributor. And i thought everything was up to date but i solved the problem now. If anyone has similar problems try looking if there are newer motherboard drivers. I updated these and it works like a charm. Ty for the reply chris.
