  • Question

  • Dear Friends,

I just joined in new office. here they have One HP Proliant DL380 G7 Machine with Windows Server 2008 R2. But the person who installed the server not given any information to them. They don't know the product key of the server. They have original DVD.

Is there any way to get the product key from the DVD?

  • The product key is typically located on a sticker on the DVD case. If the server is already activated, you can check the current key in slmgr.vbs. If this Windows Server came with the HP Proliant server box, you can call HP.

  • usually when you order a server through OEM, they attach the COA lable on server which should be visible. if you have a missing COA lable on server or its damaged, you need to call HP support.

    Thanks,
