  • Hi All,

Windows 10 build 10130 ISO released:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-iso

    Information on Windows Blog:

    "

Hi everyone, today we are releasing the ISOs for Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10130. We are not, however, releasing Build 10130 to the Slow ring due to several bugs we’re looking to fix. Once we have these fixes in hand and ready to push out to Windows Update, we’ll consider pushing Build 10130 to the Slow ring. I know we said we would only release ISOs if we push a build to the Slow ring but we’re making a special exception today. We know that a bunch of Windows Insiders on the Fast ring are currently blocked getting to the latest build due a 0x80246017 error. With the ISOs, they can mount the image and upgrade directly from the ISO and get unblocked.

    Thanks,

    "

  • Error here. I found the unofficial ISO to download, but would prefer to get it officially.

  • The best why to Install the new build is to Downgrade to the build 10074, Switch the update to fast ring and update to build 10130...

    Officiel iso build 10074 : http://iso.esd.microsoft.com/W10IP/E0F85BFCD0F6BA607BF1528926371D21F8F6B6BF/Windows10_InsiderPreview_x64_FR-FR_10074.iso

  • Everyone.......

I would suggest that you go back to the system before you tried to install 10130.
If you are using older build of Win 10 TP, change the system to Slow ring.

If Microsoft is satisfied with the performance of build 10130, MS might release it to Slow ring, and usually the ISO will also be available to download at the same time.

When that happens, you can either try to upgrade through Windows Update again, or you can download the ISO and use it to install.

2 ways to use the ISO:

    1. Burn it to a bootable DVD or USB of at least 4GB, and use it to do a Clean Install.
If you need more detail about Clean Install, please ask.

    2. Just right click at the downloaded ISO > click Mount > click Setup.exe
Install will begin. This method will allow you to keep your files, settings and installed programs.

  •  have a DELL INSPIRON 9400 Core 2 Duo x64 based processor

tried to upgrade to Buid 10133 and I recived the message "fbl_impressive Professional 10130 - Error 0x80246017".

I  reinstalled a clean copy of Build 10122 'fbl_impressive Professional 10122' using RECOVERY >RESET this PC (removed all files and reinstalls Windows) .

Took ages and now I only have the operating system, Somehow Windows has installed 32-bit Operating System.

    I updated to Build 10133 and again I recieved the same message : "fbl_impressive Professional 10130 - Error 0x80246017".

I also have a DELL DIMENSION 9200  and has no problems Professional 10130 Build has installed correctly. In this one has installed the 64-bit Operating System

  • To everyone............

    Suggestions :

    1. Post your issue at Feedback app so that MS will take a look at 10130 again. Hopefully they will find the cause and fix it.

    2. Stay with your current version. If you are using an older Win 10 TP Build, change setting to Slow ring. Wait for MS to release 10130 in Slow ring. When that happens, an ISO will also be available to download.

You can then either try again with Windows Update or download the ISO and use it to install 10130

Sorry but this is a BS response...This happened on the last build 10122 as well so if anything MS should have fixed it in this build. Secondly, 10122 never made it to the slow ring so I doubt this one would also. I had this error on TWO of the same model laptops, Toshiba Portege's. Both had 10074. Received this same error on both. On one that I wasn't using much I ended up doing a clean reinstall of 10074, then I was able to get it to update to build 10122. On the second one I have waited. Now this build comes out and i'm back to the same problem on BOTH laptops!! smh

  • To JcRod73,

I started by asking users to report the problem to Feedback app where MS people will read and take notes.

    These forums are not Microsoft.

Majority of us who come to offer help are not Microsoft employees, just volunteers.

We offer suggestions the best we know how. That is all.

You want "non-BS" responses, please write to Microsoft.

  • Hi all,

Same error message has been asked when upgrading build 10122 and the other previous builds, see this thread for more information:

If currently we are not available to do a clean install and upgrade to build 10130, please consider to do a Windows Update reset:

How do I reset Windows Update components?

Also please check and see if the following registry matches:

    Latest reply from Gabriel Aul......

When that happens, you can download the ISO and use it to install.
I would suggest that you do a clean install to make sure there is no "unwanted baggage" carried over to a fresh install.

  • My looked like it was going to sleep so I hit the keyboard to wake it up and it did and crashed very soon thereafter.  It rebooted and tried to boot from the dvd even the HDD was still there (I thought).  It did that twice on the second attempt to boot I looked at the boot devices and there was NO HDD available to boot from.  It never successfully booted from DVD.  I powered off for a few and restarted.  At that point the HDD was back and we successfully booted up.  Weird for sure.  not the first crash but the most odd one..

same - by false used SLOW to download

Rather than downgrade - can I await next version and download this next version under FAST????

By this upgrade should skip 10130 and go eg 10135(if this)???

  • Isepolis123,

If the current moment upgrading to build 10130 is not available at your side, then please consider to stay at your current build.

If you are using Windows Pro one, then you may consider to download the ISO to do a clean install.

For Windows 10 build 10130 Enterprise version, currently there is only upgrade from Windows Update available.

If there is new version available to the fast ring, then you would be OK to upgrade directly.

    Regards
