Why aren't Exchange tabs showing up in all AD user property pages? RRS feed

  • Question

  • The Exchange 2003 server is setup as a DC and when accessing ADUC and looking at the users property pages not all users pages have the Exchange tabs. This is a windows 2000 domain and I'm not sure if this was a fresh install or an upgrade to Exchange 2003. From going through the clients I woukld estimate that about 5% do not have the Exchange tabs. I have checked off the "View - Advance Features" but it doesn't change. can anyone help?

  • Hi
make sure your user has enabled mailbox
Please read this KB and check it.
Exchange-related tasks are missing from the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in

  • The accounts and mailboxes are enabled. The accounts that don't have the Exchange tabs are receiving mail, and all except for one are not experiencing any problems. I registered the maildsmx.dll as the KB stated but still can't see the Exchange tabs on all the AD accounts. Registering the DLL did help on some accounts but not all.
