Does SCOM 2007 Server Support CDMA Modems? RRS feed

  • I know that SCOM 2007 Server supports GSM Modems, but I am trying ot determine if it supports CDMA (Verizon Wireless). Any assitance is appreciated!

  • We only offically support using GSM modems.  We have not testing using other devices.  Nothing else is supported at this time.

  • I have attached many different types of GSM's and as long as Windows Server detects them as a modem, all is well. So I suppose it should work the same with the CDMA modem. Do have any possibility to test it?

  • The thing I know is that it has to show up as GSM modem in the control panel of your RMS, does it?
