Call Quality Dashboard, separate web portal? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Getting our call quality dashboard going. We have a Enterprise SQL server with a instance for CQD including SSAS.

I want to install the web portal on a separate server as our SQL box already has SSRS on it and just for some separation. The install guide says SQL and a separate portal  is a supported architecture.

When I run the installer from my portal server it complains that I need SSAS and quits. When I run the installer from the SQL server it wants to install the portal on the SQL sever, I don't want that.

I want SQL/SSAS on my Enterprise SQL server and the portal server on a separate IIS box. How do I get the installer to let me do this?

**Mods, please don't move this to a different forum. This is a Skype feature, not SQL** ( Mods keep moving my posts to the SQL forum)

  • Hi huie1983,

Emmm, this installer may want you to install the SQL SAAS Cube, not the SSAS ,am I right?

If the installer need the SQL SAAS Cube,I advice you to install it, it is the prerequisites for the Call Quality Dashboard.

I check the serverl links about install the Call Quality Dashboard.they are all use the default IIS for this features. Due to resource constraints, we cannot help with testing for separate IIS box

  • Hello,

No, it wants to install SSAS before it will continue with the install. This would be fine if I was installing it all on one server but I want to split it  with SQL on our enterprise SQL and the IIS portal separate per the supported layouts in the guide.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/management-tools/call-quality-dashboard/plan

Under the "mutiserver configuration" about half way down the page.
