  • Hi

Currently there have been no announcements for Server 2016 as a supported platform. I would expect this to be added to the list before the end of the year, possibly beginning

    thanks

  • If i setup a new Skype for Business system in about 3 weeks, would you recommend to use Windows Server 2012 R2 as operating system?

  • Is it supported now? I know this link...

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn951388.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

...says that it should be supported in CU5:

Windows Server 2016 is not included in this list right now, but we're planning to add it as a supported option after Skype for Business Server Cumulative Update 5 is released. Until then, please don't try to use Windows Server 2016 as an OS for your Skype for Business deployment today, as it's not yet supported, and we don't recommend it. And check back to this page once the cumulative update is released to confirm Windows Server 2016 is added to our supported list at that time.

Since the release in February of this:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=47690

Says in the technical notes it states that:

Update reverts the Application Sharing Server (ASMCU) changes in CU4 in Skype for Business Server 2015

I would assume that the February update is at least CU5.. maybe I'm mistaken..

Also, how about SQL 2016? Any updates on that for Skype for business 2015..
