archive mailbox access RRS feed

  • Question

  • Say a user had an archive mailbox and leaves the company, but that users mail needs to be accessed by others. How could others get into

that archive mailbox and see it (other than running discovery and delivering discovery mailbox) since Archive mailboxes are currently a 1:1

basis and you can’t mount more than one archive mailbox to an account (Good Feature Enhancement Request: “shadow” read-only many:1

    archive mailbox association)

  • Have you tried granting another user Full Access to the Primary Mailbox of the user in question?  What about creating another "Reviewer" AD account and then associating the disconnected mailbox (assuming you first Remove the mailbox from the user is question)?
