    I cannot just go live with this version.  I will have to wipe AGAIN and reinstall??  I've got online games that take for-frikin-ever to update....*sigh*

    Yes, there is not an upgrade option to go from the beta or RC build to the final version when it is released.  You'll need to do a full installation to run the release version.
