HOW TO MIGRATE FROM SINGLE DATABASE TO DAG DB IN ANOTHER ENVIRONMENT SETUP?

Question

Hello all,
I have an exchange 2013 environment with two roles on two servers. I am planning to implement DAG exchange 2013 by using new servers(two for CAS and two for Mailbox role). Please advise on the documentation of which It could help me to move from the DB to the DB using DAG.

Hi,
According to your description, I understand that want to deploy DAG in your environment, and want to know how to move Database to DAG members.
Also, I want to double confirm the environment topology:
Original environment:
One Exchange server with MBX role
One Exchange server with CAS roleAfter change:
Two Exchange server with MBX role
Two Exchange server with CAS role
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know. What are you meaning of “in another environment setup” in thread subject? Are you want to build an separate Exchange server in another AD forest?
We can use database portability to move a Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 mailbox database between Exchange 2013 Mailbox servers in the same organization. For your reference:

Hi,
If you have been deploy DAG, the mailbox database in DR site will contain all database copies in MBX server place in production site.
We can implement database, server or datacenter switchover to archive your goal. For your reference:

First create a DAG in 2013 servers and then move mailboxes to new servers.
To configure DAG on 2013 please follow the below links

The topology you described is correct. What i meant by "In another environment" is as follows. The One Exchange server with MBX role and One Exchange server with CAS role is in DR environment. The other is in the Production environment. When we launched our systems including exchange the production site was not ready so we started with DR setup. So I want to move to the Production and I will then setup the DR environment for replication.
Hope I have been clear

Why do you want to separate out the roles? The preferred architecture now a days are leaning towards multirole servers
