  • Hi John Barry,

Mail is a built-in app in Windows 10, in generally, we don’t suggest to remove it. If you insist on doing so, we could use PowerShell command to achieve.

Open a Windows PowerShell as administrator, then, type the following command.

    Get-AppxPackage *windowscommunicationsapps* | Remove-AppxPackage

In fact, I suggest to set Outlook as default Email program on your computer, this way can help us open email file by outlook directly. The following steps introduce how to operated.

1.Click on the Start Menu button bottom-left

2.Now click on the Settings menu item

    3.Then click the System icon

4.Now click on the Default apps menu item

    5.Look for the Email heading

6.The Choose an app menu should now be in view

7.Click on the email client you wish to make the default app

    Hope my clarification is clear.
