IE 11 (Windows 7) won't work because of long running script error RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm using Windows 7. Until recently, I didn't have any problems, but this week it started and has gotten worse. I have tried EVERYTHING, and IE still just won't work. My computer is optimized. There are no bad sectors. There are no viruses, trojans, worms, or rootkits. It's defragged. The Internet temporary files have been dumped. There are no broken keys or registry errors. But whenever I try to get to a site on IE 11 it freezes up and I get (website) won't respond due to a long running script error. Then I get a not responding box. And then it just hangs. It used to be just one site, then two, then three, now it's every single one. I've tried launching IE 11 without add-ons. No difference. I still get the script error crap. I've spent 20 or 30 hours trying everything I know to fix this. I've searched the web and not found anything that helps. This computer isn't that old. This doesn't happen with Firefox, but I want my IE back. What am I doing wrong? How do I fix it? HELP!!
