  • Question

  • Hi,

Could you please help me fixing my BSOD which starts occuring since I installed windows 7 32bit.
I firstly installed 64bit windows 7 but the same BSOD occurs so I reinstalled windows 7 32bit but no luck.

I firstly thought it was because of my RAM but memtest86 for more than 24 hours and didn't show any errors.
Then I moved to HDD and I used SeaTool from Seagate to test my segate 500gb HDD and didn't show any errors.

sfc /scannow and chkdsk /f said nothing is wrong. Can't find solution from other web ! please help!

  • Hi,

the Command Rate of 1T is too aggressive. Change it in the BIOS to 2T. This should fix it.

    MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (1a)
        # Any other values for parameter 1 must be individually examined.
    Arguments:
Arg1: 00041790 , The subtype of the bugcheck.

The 41790 code is part of our an internal memory manager code but the bugcheck in my experience has almost always indicated hardware issues (RAM errors).

So it looks like your RAM is damaged. Please download memtest86+ [1], burn a new bootable CD (use a CD-RW if possible) from the ISO (download and use ImgBurn [2] to do this or make double click on the ISO in Windows 7), reboot your PC and scan your RAM 4-5hours for errors. If it detects errors, replace the faulty RAM.

The other STOP cods indicate the also RAM issues. If memtest doesn't detect error, run CPU-Z and post screenshots of the Memry and SPD tab, maybe the timings are to aggressive.

  •

Running memtest86 for 4 hours hasn't detected any errors.

Friend of mine said it might be because of RAM frequency and CPU frequency doesn't match but I have no idea about this.
Below is the screenshot from CPU-Z
