Can't set a policy with a string on UAG, what's wrong ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Everyone,

    I would like to share with you some step-by-steps that I did on an UAG for set specific policy.
    And I would like to know what’s wrong, I try, retry, … Error !!! Help please.

    First, I add a custom file for set a specific policy : SetSessionParamWithType g_cookie,"3SRparam1",variable,"Policy"

    Then, a policy template.xml:

    <Policies>
     <!-- Variables -->
     <Policy>
      <Name>3SR TAG Client</Name>
      <ID>3SRparam1</ID>
      <Type>0</Type>
      <Value>public</Value>
      <Description></Description>
      <Section>Variables\3SR</Section>
     </Policy>
    </Policies>

    Until here, no problem. I can see my variable in the policy from the Web Monitor:

    So, my variable “3SRparam1” is a string, here “MVPtest”. Now I want to make a policy depending on this value.

    I create an advanced expression

    And set Never for others

    And the associated policy

    And set an access policy for my SharePoint

    And tata !!! When I activate my UAG’s configuration I have this error :

    So, what’s wrong ? Something maybe stupid that I forget ? I’m going crazy :s ….

    Thank you so much
