How to download all items from a Sharepoint ftp site?

Question
-
Hello, I'm an extremely amateur user of the Sharepoint ftp site that my work has me using, and need help with downloading content from the site. They have requested all information that is currently uploaded to be put on an external hard drive, but I don't know how to reasonably do this. There are ~10k items, and downloading each individually would take an eternity. The deadline is drawing ever closer, so...
I basically need to know if there is a way to download an entire folder at a time, and not just a single file?
It is a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site, if that helps.
Thanks!

Using FireFox + Some addons you can download files from FTP site.
But I am not sure whether this can help with your query.

I've not idea about the SharePoint FTP site, but if you are trying to download document from document library of a common SharePoint site, you can try map sharepoint document library as network drive, Refer to the following URL

Tried both of those ideas, but neither contained the solution I was looking for. Errors occur in both scenarios. Any other ideas, or anybody else that is more familiar with the Sharepoint site I am dealing with?
Thanks again!
