Exchange 2013 changing the server that responds to MWI requests RRS feed

  • Good morning!

    We are currently working on a  CUCM 9.1 deployment with Exchange UM running services for AA and voicemail.  So far everything is working without issue except for MWI.

    I've been able to trace down the issue but I'm unsure how to resolve. MWI does not work because although we have the SIP trunk pointed at the server we have set up dedicated for UM (It has both the CAS and Mailbox roles installed), the server which we intend to handle mail is the server that reponds to all MWI requests.  Since this server is not set up as the SIP trunk target in CUCM, the SIP requests are always met with a 503 Service Unavailable error.  

    I imagine there is bound to be a powershell command that will let us change which server responds to MWI requests but I have no idea what it is.  Any thoughts?
