Centralized Cloud Connector Edition With Remote Country Location PSTN Gateway? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have few questions related to CCE designing and planning.

We got one CCE working at London DC with SIP PSTN connected to SBC up & running.
There is another gateway running with E1 trunk at Dubai DC. We dont have any CCE available at Dubai DC.

Now can we integrate Dubai gateway with CCE located at London DC? Is that really possible in Skype online (office 365 cloud PBX) world?
In such a scenario 'how to manage dial plans & policies for Dubai SFB online user? Dubai SFB online user will be able to make and receive PSTN calls using local E1 trunk and remote CCE server at London?

Any help would be really appreciated?

    Regards,
    Ajit

  • Hi Ajit,

As you know, Cloud Connector PSTN sites are a topology construct created to prevent unnecessary long distance and inter-country tariffs, and to ensure that outbound emergency calls are routed to the appropriate trunk. As part of your planning for Cloud Connector, it is essential that you talk to your carriers about where your offices and users are located, and where the PSTN trunks terminate from the carrier. Details about this you could refer to Plan for Cloud Connector Edition PSTN sites.

As London and Dubai are in different countries, the action you want to do may not be supported. About this, I suggest you could try to contact with the carriers to confirm with this.

    Best Regards,
