Windows Vista - Windows Explorer crash repeatedly RRS feed

    Hi guys,

     

    I have a Dell laptop which has not been used for a little while.  When I tried to turn it on today, and the following messages keep on popping up:

     

    "windows explorer has stop working" then it will be changed to " windows explorer is restarting",

     

    I could only use IE on it at the moment.

     

    And the problem report looks something like this:

    I have tried to start it on in safe mode, and entered the following:

     

    Start > msconfig.exe > Services> Hide all Microsoft services > Disable all

     

    And then I have restart the computer in safe mode.  But the problem still exist.

     

    I would be grateful if someone could help me out in this.  Thank you in advance for your help.

    One more thing,  when I turned off the computer, there's a error message said something like:

    "Application error unknown software exception (0xc0000096) at 0x73352ff7".
