Hi,
Generally we can logon the default Administrator account to reset password however if it is disabled already or a password is already set, we will also not able to logon.
In current situation a standard solution is to reinstall the system so that a new account will be created in the new system. As it is not a clean install, data will still be there and you can remove the old Windows later.
Also you can connect the disk to another computer as Bruno mentioned.
If it is in domain then you can also use Group Policy to enable and set a password to the build-in Administrator account so that you could logon with it.

You can always remove the hard disk and attach it to another computer. That way you could start the other computer, and see your disk as a simple data disk so that you can get the files.
For this reason it's always a good idea to have an admin account with a password set to never expire, and which you don't use except for cases like this when your own user account is not usuable for some reason.
Another option now would be to use a linux live cd to boot your computer from CD room. Or a windows PE disk.
