Setting Default voice prompt RRS feed

  • Hi All 

    Is there a way to change the defualt voice prompt to english even if the local dial in number is for a non english speaking language? I have searched around and all i can see is that the voice prompt is normally derived from the local dial in number so just wondering if i could change this and how.

  • Hi,

     

    Which kind of environment do you have set up? Is it Skype for Business Server deployment or purely Skype for Business Online?

    If you are having the SFB on premise infrastructure for the enterprise voice, you could change the welcome message with response group configuration tool.

    The welcome message could be set as one language that you assigned for playing in the SFB control panel. This language is used for speech recognition and text-to-speech.

    Beside this, you could also upload an audio file specified as the welcome message.

    In addition, when you are using pure Office 365 of SFB online, the method is similar with the above on premise to set the greeting language.
