Lync Meeting Expiration RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are familiar with setting meeting and content expiration in OCS and we have our meeting content expiration set in Lync but have not found where the meeting expiration setting is.  By looking at the stored procedure that is supposed to do that maintenance it appears it is looking for a column called ConferenceExpiryInterval in the DbConfigInt table, but we cannot find that column.  Not that we want to change anything in the database, we were just trying to understand how the meeting expiration works as it is a security item we get asked about.  If anyone has any inside information about that behavior in Lync any help is appreciated.  Thanks.

  • Hello Macgeever,

I assume you are talking about meeting expiration after time period since meeting has created. You have some options to do. Your user name is mapped to the lync meeting url and lync meeting url is same for the user. Also you have meeting lobby option first, else you can reset the meeting url.
