Resource Plan Bugs RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

While working with resource plans i have been facing this strange problem. Scenario is : I have a proposal which has just moved to planning phase.

Now i click on Resource Plan, then click on build team to select 2 resources. After that i save & close the build team page and back to resource plan.

Next thing i do is give the date range, this is where problem is. If i select 6th June to 17th June as my date range it shows as 5th June to 16th June, so i have to give dates like 3rd June to 21 or 23 or 20th june. What is the solution?? or possibly i mite be missing something...

I cannot duplicate your problem.  Do you have SP1 applied to your Project Server 2010, plus the Cumulative Update for June?  If not, I would recommend you apply them and then let us know if you continue to have the same problem.

  • Hi,

we have the same problems on our Project Server 2010 System. We already installed SP1 and the actual CU of June 2011.

    Do you have any recommendations?

No, I have no recommendations since I cannot duplicate the problem.  Maybe someone else in this forum has a brilliant idea and will be willing to share it.  Sorry I cannot be more help.  :(

  • Like Dale I am unable to reproduce the issue ProjectUser2011.  I'd sugest if you want to drill deeper that you open a support incident with Microsoft.  We can then examine your database and hopefully idetify why the dates you select are not what you get.  You might also want to look at the trace from an HTTP proxy tool such as Fiddler to see if the issue is the wrong date being sent form the date picker - or the wrong dates being returned from Project Server.

    Best regards,

    Brian.
