sharepoint 2010 site collections not discovered in scom

Question
-
I am seeing a blank view in Discovered Inventory -> SharePoint Site Collection and Discovered Inventory -> MySiteHost Site
I verified the following based on the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2690744
- Local admin on all SharePoint 2010 Front End and Application Servers
- Local admin on all SQL machines that host SharePoint 2010 databases
- Full Farm Administrator rights within SharePoint 2010
- DBO for all SharePoint databases
I can see all databases fine, including MySites and TeamSites content databases, but not individual sites.
Any help is appreciated

By chance did you reboot your rms or management servers after importing the management pack? That got it working for me one time. Not sure why, b/c I had restarted the OpsMgr services on the management servers.
Hope this helps!

Hi
Just some thoughts, did you Import all Management packs and also the dependend Management packs as descirbed in the Sharpoint MP guide? Did you run the discovery Task and also create the configuration file and the runas account etc.? I just want to mention some "pitfalls"...
See here is also a good step-by-step guide...
Cheers,
Stefan

Stefan,
The issue is only with discovering Site Collections and MySiteHost Sites
I am on SCOM 2007 R2
Yes, did all that, and imported all MPs including SQL, IIS, and Windows OS, although my understanding is they are not mandatory although nice to have.
Windows OS – Same version as SharePoint
• IIS – Same version as SharePoint
• SQL – Same version as SharePointThe SP MPs are not the same version as Windows Core, since SharePoint MPs are 14.0.4744.1000 and Windows Core Lib is 6.1.7221.0
There are 9 MPs that SP Foundation MP depends on, and they are all the same version 6.1.7221.00 except for MIcrosoft Generic Report Library which is 6.1.7221.15
