Decrease my Ram Usage RRS feed

  • I have 4GB of DDR3 Ram but my ram usage always shows 98%(3.52GB).During the startup the ram usage was only 28% but after some time it reaches to 98% and not decreasing..I dont know the exact problem.Microsoft security essentials says there are no threats ...

    I use windows 7 64bit

    core 2 duo processor(2.2 Ghz,800MHz FSB)

    320 GB HDD

    please provide solutions to resolve the problem!!!

  • Open Resource Monitor to look which process use a memory. Possibly there is a leak. Is it correspond to a network activity, e.g. files downloading?

  • yeah it's because of windows media player network sharing service which utilised most of the memory,i've disabled it permanently and my computer was normal as before...

  • Try to Disable all startup Services By :

     

    Start --> Run --> Msconfig --> Startup --> Disable All --> ok --> Restart the machine
