Current/Recent IM showing between old IM done previously. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Greetings!!!

we are currently using LYNC server 2010 and client is Skype for Business.

Actually, when user is having IM with another user, the IM is getting merge or showing the new IM between the older IM. this issue is start persisting after user's client updated to Skype.

in the below Image, you can see the IM sent at 1:45PM showing before the the IM's done at 1:31PM. I am thinking that this is a local client issue but not getting hint about from where to start troubleshooting this. This issue is with 1 user only

    Thanks in Advance.

  • Hi Rishi,

What do you mean IM is merged?

In my research, you can try to solve the issue in these ways:

1)Confirm if your time zone is correct: go to “Date and Time setting” >” Internet Time” > click “Update now” to sync with the time.windows.com again to check it.

2)Check your version of Skype for Business. If your Skype for Business version is 7.17.0.105 that causes your messages to be displayed out of order, you should downgrade to a previous version.

3)Then you can clear the Skype for Business cache to see if the issue can be fixed.
